
If you plan to be active for life, you need to practice yoga. The benefits of yoga are endless. To name a few, yoga
- Improves muscle tone, strength, flexibility and stamina
- Aids in injury prevention
- Reduces physical/mental stress and tension
- Improves concentration
- Reduces body fat
- Stimulates the immune system
- Improves circulation
- Creates a sense of well being
To complete the challenge you have to go to one Air Yoga class and two classes in the Mind/Body Zone. You will get a taste of Canton Club's yoga program. But don't stop there, OVERINDULGE! Try yoga with all of instructors, Cecilia, David, Anita, Christina, and Brandie. Each instructor offers a unique approach to yoga. Make it a long term goal to incorporate yoga into your fitness regimen at least twice per month. For beginners, we do offer Yoga for Beginners every Tuesday at 6 pm.
After you have practiced, I guarantee "the theory will be obvious".
I was hoping to make it to the gym in time tonight for Power Yoga. I could have used it. Can someone write me a note to get out of work so that I can get to the gym?? :) :)
