"Before you have practiced, the theory is useless. After you have practiced, the theory is obvious."


If you plan to be active for life, you need to practice yoga. The benefits of yoga are endless. To name a few, yoga
  • Improves muscle tone, strength, flexibility and stamina
  • Aids in injury prevention
  • Reduces physical/mental stress and tension
  • Improves concentration
  • Reduces body fat
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Improves circulation
  • Creates a sense of well being

To complete the challenge you have to go to one Air Yoga class and two classes in the Mind/Body Zone. You will get a taste of Canton Club's yoga program. But don't stop there, OVERINDULGE! Try yoga with all of instructors, Cecilia, David, Anita, Christina, and Brandie. Each instructor offers a unique approach to yoga. Make it a long term goal to incorporate yoga into your fitness regimen at least twice per month. For beginners, we do offer Yoga for Beginners every Tuesday at 6 pm.

After you have practiced, I guarantee "the theory will be obvious".

  1. I was hoping to make it to the gym in time tonight for Power Yoga. I could have used it. Can someone write me a note to get out of work so that I can get to the gym?? :) :)
